Our aim is to build this small company into a thriving marketplace where buyers and sellers alike can benefit from this niche area. Transactional processes are detailed below. As we grow, further features will be added so keep an eye out for updates. There are no initial membership or subscription costs; however, a commission is charged as an administrative fee for handling your sales while ensuring your complete anonymity.
1. Register your interest in becoming a seller on our home page. Please note, we will require photo identification as proof that you are above the age of 18. Once received we will review the information provided and be in touch to discuss which listings you would like to upload. We will also advise your Seller number (you're welcome to change this)
2. Whilst we establish our brand, we would ask that listings are initially capped at 10 per seller. Using our extensive research and understanding of this fabulous niche market we will price these items accordingly, we reserve the right to refuse certain footwear. We will inflate slightly to accommodate the shipping fee which we (MTS) will arrange.
3. Photos - Good photos are crucial. Take clear, well-lit pictures from multiple angles. Highlight the wear and tear, as this is often what buyers are looking for. You will gain more interest from images showing you wearing the shoes. You don't need to show anything above your knee to attract attention. Buyers may be interested in seeing other angles, such as more images of the soles - this is where providing a contact email address comes in handy as this may increase likelihood of a sale.
4. Should a buyer wish to chat 💬 (and you have given us permission to do so) we ask that you review your designated email address regularly otherwise you might miss out on a sale. Building a good relationship with your buyers is an excellent start to repeated sales. We are working hard behind the scenes to introduce a direct messaging feature.
5. When communicating with buyers, your safety is paramount. Whilst this is an open platform for buyers to explore their interests, we want you to enjoy the experience and be rewarded from selling with us. If you have any significant concerns please email us on morethansolescustomercare@gmail.com
6. During your conversations you may discuss providing additional services such as longer wears etc. Please agree the cost with the buyer who can add a "tip" before they checkout. If you'd like more money to be added to the tip pre-set amount just contact admin :)
6. Once a sale is made, you will receive an automated message. You will have 5 days to post your item. We will contact you separately with a delivery note to print and drop off at either a Evri or Inpost collection point. We will also let you know if you have been paid for any additional services.
7. Once we have confirmation that a delivery has been made, your payment will be released on a fortnightly rotation minus the commission fee of the overall checkout price. This is subject to change as the brand grows but the initial amount is set at 15%. This amount covers business expenses and ensures the quality of the site and protection of your funds and anonymity.
